Company
The Ingenix team was built deliberately to do work that no single discipline can address alone.
Bridging AI and Biology
On the AI side, the founding team previously built the AI company Applica—later acquired by Snowflake—whose TILT model contributed to the GPT-4 benchmark. The wider research team includes Kaggle Grandmasters and AI researchers who came to Ingenix from Recursion, Inceptive, and Snowflake.
On the biology side, the team brings pharma research experience spanning discovery through Phase II, including ex-InSilico Medicine veterans and a computational biologist ranked in the top 2% globally by a Stanford study. The Global Head of R&D Oncology at Servier serves as a Scientific Advisor.
On the commercial side, leadership has the business experience this sector requires. From seven years of experience supporting AI and life sciences startups at Amazon Web Services to having co-founded AION Labs as a venture builder for AI-driven biotech, we know what it takes to get an AI partnership to land inside a top-20 pharma organization.
Why devote our careers to building AI that truly understands biology? The decisions made early in R&D compound over every phase that follows—better questions early mean fewer failed trials, more therapies that work, and fewer patients without access to care. We like being part of the solution.
As a company we promote a culture of accountability and rigorous adhesion to the scientific method. Ingenix is strongly in favor of human-mediated AI, both on ethical grounds and because we believe unchecked falsehoods are simply bad for business.
The result is an AI partner that reasons across every biological scale simultaneously—and shows its work. A force multiplier for the R&D leaders making the next decision.
